CHRIST BRIDE + BODY = BELIEVER

1. Creation of Eve:

God used ½ of Adam’s DNA (feminine traits) to form Eve. Adam was left with masculine traits while Eve received the feminine traits.

(Adam’s major traits) Masculinity: goal oriented, initiator, logical, provider, protector.

(Eve’s major traits) Femininity: relational, responder, intuitive, nurturer, helper.

2. Physical Union:

The two (male and female) become one. 1 Co 6:16

3. Soulish Union: [outwardly interactions]

The two (masculine and feminine) become one.

ie) [Discipline of children father/mother]

Speak the truth in love. Eph 4:15 Body of Christ

cold/harsh lenient/permissive

If a father disciplines a child on his own, the result maybe cold and harsh as he is leaning on the truth side.  If a mother disciplines a child on her own she may tend to be lenient and permissive as she is leaning on the love side.  Together their discipline will be in between the extremes producing better results.  Eph 6:4.

3b. Spiritual Union: [inwardly interactions]

The two (God and Believer) become one. 1 Co 6:17

Worship in Spirit and truth Jn 4:24 Bride of Christ

   1 Jn 4:8, 1 Jn 4:19

Worship in Spirit is not a geographical location issue [Mt. Gerizim/Jerusalem] but a heart issue.

And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength.’  The second is this, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.” Mk 12:30,31

The Bride of Christ [relational/responder] is inwardly where I pursue intimacy with God.   ie) Mary Lk 10:39,42 is a good example of pursuing intimacy with God by using her feminine traits of being a relational seeker and a responder.

His words are kisses, his kisses words. Everything about him delights me, thrills me through and through! SS 5:16 MSG

The Body of Christ [goal oriented/initiator] is outwardly where I pursue loving my neighbor and battling for the Kingdom of God. ie) Martha Lk 10:40 is a good example of pursuing God’s kingdom by using her masculine traits of setting a goal and initiating the interaction.

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” Jos 1:9
