WALKING ON THE HIGH WIRE OF LOVE
I’M FALLING FASTER WITH EVERY SHOVE
SOMEBODY HELP ME PLEASE, NOW BEFORE I FALL
WALKING ON THAT HIGH WIRE OF LOVE
THERE MUST BE A STRONG MAN OUT THERE SOMEWHERE
THERE MUST BE A DANCING FOOL
WHO’LL HELP ME LAUGH THROUGH THESE TEARS
SOMEBODY HELP ME, SOMEBODY HELP ME PLEASE
CHORUS
THERE MUST BE A STRONG MAN OUT THERE SOMEWHERE
THERE MUST BE A DANCING FOOL
WHO’LL HELP ME LAUGH THROUGH THESE TEARS
SOMEBODY HELP ME, SOMEBODY HELP ME PLEASE
CHORUS
BREAK
CHORUS 2X
WALKING ON THAT HIGH WIRE OF LOVE
HERE I GO
Our passionate pursuit in life is to find the ultimate lover. The One who will love us unconditionally and enjoy being in our presence, more than anywhere else, who will be faithful and loyal, even to the point of death, to protect us. The problem is that we are looking in the wrong dimension. There are strong men, men that can make us laugh, but none who can keep us from falling off the high wire of love because all are sinners Ro 3:23 and therefore, that fall will come, sooner or later. It’s called conditional love, a type of love that can only love as long as its’ needs are met. Tang cries out for somebody to help her before she gives up all hope in her quest to find true love. Ironically, this love has been wooing her for years Ac 17:27. He is Jesus Christ, who loved us all and proved it by dying in our place to take away the punishment that we deserve Ro 3:25,26. He wants to be your love but you must turn to Him to receive it (How to be saved?).
