GIFT OF GOD

GIFT OF GOD

FOR THE WAGES OF SIN IS DEATH
BUT THE GIFT OF GOD IS ETERNAL LIFE
IN CHRIST JESUS OUR LORD
IN CHRIST JESUS OUR LORD
IN CHRIST JESUS OUR LORD

CHORUS

TWINKLE STARS,
ALL THE PRETTY FLOWERS WE SEE
WHO MADE THEM? WHO MADE THEM?
WHO MADE THEM ALL?
TELL ME, TELL ME, TELL ME
TELL ME WHO MADE THEM ALL, OUR GOD,
WHO MADE THEM ALL, OUR LORD
WHO MADE THEM ALL,
OUR FATHER IN HEAVEN

CHORUS 2X

The Gift of God

In a quiet valley where stars danced in the night sky and wildflowers bathed in golden sunlight, a weary traveler named Amos wandered alone. His heart was heavy, burdened by a tattered bag crammed with every wrong he had ever done—sharp words flung in anger, selfish deeds that wounded others, and days spent blind to the beauty that surrounded him.

Each step grew harder, the weight dragging him toward a shadowy chasm where all broken things seemed to disappear. He remembered the words of the village elder: “The wages of such a life is ruin.”

One night, under a blanket of stars, Amos looked up and whispered, “Who made all this?”
He felt unworthy of their beauty. His voice cracked as he cried out, “Is there anyone who can help me?”

To his astonishment, a gentle man appeared—Emmanuel, with a face that glowed like the morning sun. He pointed toward a luminous tree rooted deep in the earth, its branches lifting stars and blossoms alike.

“Amos,” Emmanuel said softly, “my Father designed all of this—the stars that shine above, the flowers that bloom below. And He offers you a gift: eternal life through Me.”

Amos trembled. “But why me? I’ve earned only darkness.”

Emmanuel smiled. “Because my Father in heaven loves you. Not for what you’ve done, but because of faith in Me, you can become His child.”

With shaking hands, Amos laid his bag at the tree’s roots. It sank into the earth and vanished. In its place came a lightness he had never known—a peace that filled his soul.

From that day on, Amos tended the valley’s flowers, sang beneath the stars, and lived with joy. He never forgot the moment grace found him. And he was forever grateful for the gift of God—eternal life through Christ Jesus, our Lord, who made them all.
