In the beginning God (elohim) created (bara) the heaven and the earth. Gen 1:1
elohim- N-mp (noun- masculine, plural)
bara- 3ms (third person, masculine singular)
In Genesis 1:1, the Hebrew word for God, Elohim, is plural in form, while the verb bara (created) is singular. This grammatical combination demonstrates a unity within plurality, which supports the concept of God as a unified being with a complex nature. This idea aligns with Deuteronomy 6:4.
Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one (echad) LORD: Dt 6:4 echad- Number-ms (number- masculine, singular)
God’s unity in plurality is expressed in the following verse:
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Mt 28:19
name- N- ANS (noun- accusative, neuter, singular)
Father, Son, Holy Ghost- N- GMS (genitive, neuter, singular)
This unity in plurality is also found in the marriage relationship.
Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one (echad) flesh. Gen 2:24

Mt 6:10, Jn 6:38, 2 Co 3:18; 1 Co 11:3, Gen 2:18.
Marriage is a reflection or analogy of the Trinity—not an exact replica. Both show: unity with distinction, relational oneness, mutual love and purpose. But the Trinity is perfect, eternal, and divine, while marriage is temporal, human, and imperfect.
* Glorifying God Through Eternal Communion
We are made for relationship with God.
And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.Jn 17:3
Knowing God is not just informational—it’s relational, ongoing, and deeply personal. Eternal life is communion with God, not just a location (heaven), but a relationship.
God will dwell with His people. God’s goal has always been to dwell with His people—in Eden, in the tabernacle, through Christ, and finally in the new creation.
Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. Rev 21:3
Glory is expressed in relationship. God is glorified when His character is revealed and enjoyed in relationship. Our worship, trust, obedience, and love are all forms of response—eternal “communication” with Him that glorifies Him.
