Verse 1
The man who is clean is to sprinkle those who are unclean on the third and seventh days, and on the seventh day he is to purify them. Those who are being cleansed must wash their clothes and bathe with water, and that evening they will be clean. Nu 19:19
After touching a dead person or a human bone or grave, these people would be unclean and a clean man would need to sprinkle water to purify them. Those being cleansed would also have to wash their clothes and bathe to be clean, if they didn’t they would be cut off from the community.
Verse 2
Now suppose they marry men from other Israelite tribes; then their inheritance will be taken from our ancestral inheritance and added to that of the tribe they marry into. And so part of the inheritance allotted to us will be taken away. Nu 36:3
Zelophehad had no sons, so when he died the inheritance was to go to his daughters. The question posed by the Manasseh tribe was if the daughters married outside their tribe, then the Manasseh tribe’s inheritance would be lost to another tribe. God’s solution was that they had to marry within their father’s tribal clan.
Verse 3
“Go and tell Hananiah, ‘This is what the Lord says: You have broken a wooden yoke, but in its place you will get a yoke of iron. Jer 28:13
Hananiah was a false prophet who took the wooden yoke off Jeremiah’s neck and broke it to demonstrate that God would deliver Israel from the Babylonians. God’s response was that He would replace the wooden yoke with a much stronger one of iron, declaring that Nebuchadnezzar’s rule over the nations would be mighty.
Sound from Heaven: God is sovereign and His rules are to be obeyed.
If an unclean person ignored God’s steps to become clean, he would be cut off from the community. God’s land allotment to each tribe was not to be altered. A false prophesy would cost Hananiah his life.

Verse 1
While Peter was wondering about the meaning of the vision, the men sent by Cornelius found out where Simon’s house was and stopped at the gate. Ac 10:17
The Gentiles have come to bring Peter to Cornelius to reveal that the Gentiles are accepted by God.
Verse 2
In that day the Lord will snatch away their finery: the bangles and headbands and crescent necklaces. Isa 3:18
God judges Israel for their disobedience.
Verse 3
You are to wash the internal organs and the legs with water, and the priest is to burn all of it on the altar. It is a burnt offering, a food offering, an aroma pleasing to the Lord. Lev 1:9
Just as a burnt offering was totally consumed on the altar, we are to serve and love God wholly. Lk 10:27
Sound from Heaven: God has no favorites Ro 2:11
God accepted the Gentiles on the same basis as the Jews, and He disciplines whoever is rebellious. What God honors is a heart that loves Him.

Verse 1
The whole assembly agreed to do this, because it seemed right to all the people. 1 Chr 13:4
The people all agreed to bring back the ark of their God.
Verse 2
The violence of the wicked will drag them away, for they refuse to do what is right. Pr 21:7
Destruction will come to the wicked because they refuse to do what is right.
Verse 3
The Lord appeared to Abraham near the great trees of Mamre while he was sitting at the entrance to his tent in the heat of the day. Gen 18:1
The Lord appeared to one of His faithful servants while he was resting.
Sound from Heaven: Return to God and He will return to you Jas 4:8
The people desired to bring back the ark and to return to worship their God. Those who refuse to obey the Lord will suffer destruction, but the faithful will see God.
Mon March 28/22
Verse 1
He placed the Sea on the south side, at the southeast corner. 2 Chr 4:10
The Bronze Sea represented judgment and cleansing from sin, called a sea because of the large amount of water it contained (size of a living room). It representing the forgiveness that Jesus provided. Comparing the Temple’s geographical location to the earth, we would discover that the Bronze Altar which represented Jesus’ sacrifice would be located at Golgotha 31° N Latitude. Going westward to the Bronze Sea which symbolized the cleansing we receive from the blood of Jesus would be the Mediterranean Sea 30o – 45o N Latitude. To reach the Holy of Holies which represented the Presence of God would be Mount Everest at 28° N Latitude, the highest point on earth.
Mountains were considered high places. Thus they were used for religious purposes, both for God and pagan rituals.
In the last days the mountain of the Lord’s temple will be established as the highest of the mountains; it will be exalted above the hills, and peoples will stream to it. Mic 4:1
As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the Lord surrounds his people both now and forevermore. Ps 125:2
Lk 6:12 One of those days Jesus went out to a mountainside to pray, and spent the night praying to God.
Verse 2
For all these things were done by the people who lived in the land before you, and the land became defiled. Lev 18:27
God warned the Israelites to avoid a sinful lifestyle in the Promised Land or they would receive the same judgment as their predecessors.
Verse 3
David reigned over all Israel, doing what was just and right for all his people. 1 Chr 18:14
God wants us to follow David’s example of justice and righteousness towards His people.
Sound from Heaven: Live a holy lifestyle
God provided Jesus to forgive our sins, but warns us to avoid a sinful lifestyle. David is our example of how to treat others with justice and righteousness.

Verse 1
When the armor-bearer saw that Saul was dead, he too fell on his sword and died with him. 1 Sa 31:5
A servant who dedicated his life to his master.
Verse 2
We have confidence in the Lord that you are doing and will continue to do the things we command. 2 Th 3:4
A servant of God obeys God’s Word.
Verse 3
You have not come to a mountain that can be touched and that is burning with fire; to darkness, gloom and storm; Heb 12:18
Christians have not come to a mountain of fear but one of joy.
Sound from Heaven: A servant’s joy
A Christian dedicates his life in serving the Lord through his obedience to God’s Word. He experiences the joy rather than the fear of the Lord. 1 Jn 4:18
Sat March 26/22
Verse 1
Their heart is deceitful, and now they must bear their guilt. The Lord will demolish their altars and destroy their sacred stones. Hos 10:2
After Israel began to prosper his heart became deceitful and now God will bring judgment upon the nation.
Verse 2
Then the Lord said to Moses, 11 “Go, tell Pharaoh king of Egypt to let the Israelites go out of his country.” Ex 6:10
God commands Moses to tell Pharaoh to let the Israelites go.
Verse 3
So Moses said to Israel’s judges, “Each of you must put to death those of your people who have yoked themselves to the Baal of Peor.” Nu 25:5
Israel’s judges must kill the people who are worshipping Baal.
Sound from Heaven: Judgment coming
God will first judge His children 1 Pe 4:17, then will demand the enemy to release His people who are in bondage, but those who have worshipped Satan will undergo the second death.
Fri March 25/22
Verse 1
The womb forgets them, the worm feasts on them; the wicked are no longer remembered but are broken like a tree. Job 24:20
The wicked may rule for a while but in the end will receive their just reward.
Verse 2
If someone brings a lamb as their sin offering, they are to bring a female without defect. Lev 4:32
The religious leaders had to sacrifice a male but the poor commoners could sacrifice a female lamb—a picture of the man being the head over the wife, God’s hierarchy order and thus more cost of sacrifice demanded from the man.
Verse 3
I will send fire on Magog and on those who live in safety in the coastlands, and they will know that I am the Lord. Eze 39:6
God will destroy Magog to make His Name holy among the nations when they observe His power.
Sound from Heaven: God will judge the wicked while demanding righteousness from His people 1 Pe 4:17.
The wicked will receive their just rewards while God standard is even higher for His people. In the end He will destroy His true enemy Satan and make His Name holy amongst all the nations.
Thu March 24/22
Verse 1
The king of Egypt did not march out from his own country again, because the king of Babylon had taken all his territory, from the Wadi of Egypt to the Euphrates River. 2 Ki 24:7
Egypt defeated by Babylon allowing Nebuchadnezzar to invade Israel again.
Verse 2
Have mercy on me, Lord, for I am faint; heal me, Lord, for my bones are in agony. Ps 6:2
David cries to the Lord for deliverance.
Verse 3
Then the men of Israel answered the men of Judah, “We have ten shares in the king; so we have a greater claim on David than you have. Why then do you treat us with contempt? Weren’t we the first to speak of bringing back our king?” But the men of Judah pressed their claims even more forcefully than the men of Israel. 2 Sa 19:43
After David’s victory, Israel felt unappreciative by the tribe of Judah eventually leading to civil war and dividing the nation in two.
Sound from Heaven: Israel’s history of strife
Israel would turn from God and place her trust in other nations like Egypt, but would discover only God could deliver them. David was an example of the Israel cycle: sin, repentance then deliverance. Unfortunately, Israel and Judah were finally separated into two nations because of their disobedience.

Verse 1
Speak and act as those who are going to be judged by the law that gives freedom. Jas 2:12
Christians are to be kind and gentle in their words and actions, especially when sharing the Gospel.
Verse 2
It makes the depths churn like a boiling caldron and stirs up the sea like a pot of ointment. Job 41:31
God created the mighty Leviathan and only God can control him.
Verse 3
Thomas said to him, “Lord, we don’t know where you are going, so how can we know the way? Jn 14:5
Thomas wasn’t sure of the way to heaven. But Jesus told him that He was the Way.
Sound from Heaven: We are to share the Good News with all
Christians are to guard their words and actions, so as not be a stumbling block for those seeking the kingdom. The enemy will try his best to thwart our work but God is greater than His creation 1 Jn 4:4. There is no other way to eternal life than through Jesus.

Verse 1
Now that you have purified yourselves by obeying the truth so that you have sincere love for each other, love one another deeply, from the heart. 1 Pe 1:22
The change that occurs in a person when he believes in Jesus.
Verse 2
But how is it to your credit if you receive a beating for doing wrong and endure it? But if you suffer for doing good and you endure it, this is commendable before God. 1 Pe 2:20
If we are going to persecuted, it is better to suffer for doing good rather than doing wrong.
Verse 3
When he reached a certain place, he stopped for the night because the sun had set. Taking one of the stones there, he put it under his head and lay down to sleep. Gen 28:11
Jacob was about to have a life changing encounter with God.
Sound from Heaven: We are a new creation in Christ 2 Co 5:17
Our character changes positively because of trust in Christ, although persecution will likely increase, hopefully for doing good not evil. Meeting Jesus is a life changing event for all of eternity.
Mon March 21/22
Verse 1
The Lord heard Elijah’s cry, and the boy’s life returned to him, and he lived. 1 Ki 17:22
God answers Elijah’s prayer.
Verse 2
When all the work Solomon had done for the temple of the Lord was finished, he brought in the things his father David had dedicated—the silver and gold and all the furnishings—and he placed them in the treasuries of God’s temple. 2 Chr 5:1
Solomon and David give their most valuable possessions for God’s temple.
Verse 3
They said, “When the Lord commanded my lord to give the land as an inheritance to the Israelites by lot, he ordered you to give the inheritance of our brother Zelophehad to his daughters. Nu 36:2
The Gilead clan asks Moses what would happen to the land allotment if the daughters married outside the tribe? God answered by saying the daughters had to marry within their tribe.
Sound from Heaven: Dependency upon God
Elijah relied on God through prayer to raise the dead, while Solomon and David saved their best possessions for God because they trusted in Him. When difficult decisions have to be made God’s people depend on God for the answer.

Verse 1
In the hill country of Ephraim they were given Shechem (a city of refuge for one accused of murder) and Gezer. Jos 21:21
Kohathite clans of the Levites were allotted four towns including Shechem, a City of Refuge.
Vderse 2
She is pillaged, plundered, stripped! Hearts melt, knees give way, bodies tremble, every face grows pale. Nah 2:10
Nineveh falls.
Verse 3
Since you died with Christ to the elemental spiritual forces of this world, why, as though you still belonged to the world, do you submit to its rules. Col 2:20
Christians still in bondage to legalism.
Sound from Heaven: God’s provision
God provided for the Levites by allotted them land, and He protected Israel by destroying her enemies, but Christians must walk in truth to experience God’s full blessings.

Verse 1
For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. Ro 14:17
God’s kingdom is not ceremonial observances but holy conduct.
Verse 2
Brothers and sisters, do not slander one another. Anyone who speaks against a brother or sister or judges them speaks against the law and judges it. When you judge the law, you are not keeping it, but sitting in judgment on it. Jas 4:11
Christians should not be slandering one another. God is the judge not us.
Verse 3
This is what the Lord Almighty says: ‘In a little while I will once more shake the heavens and the earth, the sea and the dry land. Hag 2:6
God’s promise to give His people victory in the future.
Sound from Heaven: God’s kingdom of true followers will finally be restored
True followers of the Kingdom experience inner transformation and do not take pride in outer obedience to legalistic rituals. They are humble servants, who do not judge fellow believers and who God promises to reward eternally.

Verse 1
Do everything you can to help Zenas the lawyer and Apollos on their way and see that they have everything they need. Tit 3:13
We are to meet the needs of believers, especially the leaders serving God.
Verse 2
Lately my people have risen up like an enemy. You strip off the rich robe from those who pass by without a care, like men returning from battle. Mic 2:8
Rebellion will result in judgment.
Verse 3
Demetrius is well spoken of by everyone—and even by the truth itself. We also speak well of him, and you know that our testimony is true. 3 Jn 1:12
God’s faithful servants will be honored by all.
Sound from Heaven: Works rewarded accordingly Ro 2:6
We are told to meet others’ needs. Disobedience and faithfulness in serving God will be justly rewarded.
Thu March 17/22
Verse 1
David and his men settled in Gath with Achish. Each man had his family with him, and David had his two wives: Ahinoam of Jezreel and Abigail of Carmel, the widow of Nabal. 1 Sa 27:3
David settled in the land of the Philistines to escape from the pursuit of Saul. He was honouring God’s choice of Saul 1 Sa 24:10. However, David disobeyed God’s command by having two wives. God would make a helper, not helpers for Adam Gen 2:18. Adam was to be joined to his wife, not wives and the two, not three or more were to become one Gen 2:24.
Verse 2
You ask, “Why?” It is because the Lord is the witness between you and the wife of your youth. You have been unfaithful to her, though she is your partner, the wife of your marriage covenant. Mal 2:14
God instituted marriage and Israel was unfaithful in its responsibility to its marriage vows. God’s priests broke the oneness command with their spouses of their youth, marrying younger women and thus destroying the raising of godly offspring.
Verse 3
All they asked was that we should continue to remember the poor, the very thing I had been eager to do all along. Gal 2:10
Paul’s ministry was to the Gentiles and was recognized by the other apostles. He was only told not to neglect the poor which he was eager to do.
Sound from Heaven: Choose complete obedience over unfaithfulness
David was passionate for God, yet unfaithful many times in his life, but his sincere repentance made him a man after God’s own heart. On the other hand, God’s priests were unfaithful and impenitent to God’s marriage laws. Finally, Paul was completely faithful in his ministry to the Gentiles, not neglecting the poor.

Trust in Jesus for your peace.
Verse 2
Then Isaiah the prophet went to King Hezekiah and asked, “What did those men say, and where did they come from?” “From a distant land,” Hezekiah replied. “They came to me from Babylon.” Isa 39:3
Enemies will pretend to admire you, but plot for their gain.
Verse 3
I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. Php 4:12
Contentment in any and every situation comes from relying on Jesus.
Sound from Heaven: Dependency on Jesus
Trust in Jesus for your peace, as enemies plot to harm you. There is contentment in Jesus, who works all things out for your good.

Verse 1
Those who once ate delicacies are destitute in the streets. Those brought up in royal purple now lie on ash heaps. Lam 4:5
God judged His people because they became heartless.
Verse 2
But I see another law at work in me, waging war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin at work within me. Ro 7:23
I know what is right but I allow sin to make me a prisoner.
Verse 3
Whoever loves money never has enough; whoever loves wealth is never satisfied with their income. This too is meaningless. Ecc 5:10
Choosing money over God will never satisfy and will lead to an unhappy ending.
Sound from Heaven: Fix your eyes on Jesus
There is judgment for those who become heartless. Break free from sin and do what is right for nothing in this life can satisfy except God.

Verse 1
When they heard this sound, a crowd came together in bewilderment, because each one heard their own language being spoken. Ac 2:6
The Holy Spirit speaks to each one in a language that they can understand.
Verse 2
Accept the one whose faith is weak, without quarreling over disputable matters. Ro 14:1
God desires unity in the Body.
Verse 3
For even when we were with you, we gave you this rule: “The one who is unwilling to work shall not eat.” 2 Th 3:10
The church must discipline those who refuse to obey.
Sound from Heaven: Unity in the Body
The Holy Spirit communicates with God’s people individually, promoting the unity of the Body while requiring discipline to those who are living in rebellion.

I wrote to the church, but Diotrephes, who loves to be first, will not welcome us. 3 Jn 1:9
Pride prevents God’s love to be expressed.
Verse 2
One who oppresses the poor to increase his wealth and one who gives gifts to the rich—both come to poverty. Pr 22:16
Selfish motives lead to poverty.
Verse 3
Then the sailors said to each other, “Come, let us cast lots to find out who is responsible for this calamity.” They cast lots and the lot fell on Jonah. Jnh 1:7
Thinking only of self will lead to calamity.

Pride prevents God’s love to be expressed while selfish motives lead to spiritual poverty and physical calamity.

Verse 1
This is the city of revelry that lived in safety. She said to herself, “I am the one! And there is none besides me.”What a ruin she has become, a lair for wild beasts! All who pass by her scoff and shake their fists. Zep 2:15
Proud Assyria was humbled when she was brought down to ruins.
Verse 2
Live as free people, but do not use your freedom as a cover-up for evil; live as God’s slaves. 1 Pe 2:16
We are under grace but it mustn’t be misused. We are called to freedom to be God’s slaves.
Verse 3
In fierce anger he has cut off every horn of Israel. He has withdrawn his right hand at the approach of the enemy. He has burned in Jacob like a flaming fire that consumes everything around it. Lam 2:3
Rebellion by his people will result in judgment.
Sound from Heaven: Serve God only
God will humble the proud. If people, who should be God’s slaves, use their freedom to indulge in the sinful pleasures of the flesh, they will be destroyed.

Verse 1
He must not be a recent convert, or he may become conceited and fall under the same judgment as the devil. 1 Ti 3:6
An elder, cannot be a recent convert, he has to have earned his position through sacrifice.
Verse 2
Grace, mercy and peace from God the Father and from Jesus Christ, the Father’s Son, will be with us in truth and love. 2 Jn 1:3
God’s gifts will be experienced when walking in truth and love.
Verse 3
You became imitators of us and of the Lord, for you welcomed the message in the midst of severe suffering with the joy given by the Holy Spirit. 1 Th 1:6
The Gospel changes our character, and we are not overcome despite severe trials because of the joy given by the Holy Spirit.

To shepherd God’s people, it must be earned through sacrifice. God’s truth and love unleashes the joy of the Lord to sustain one while enduring constant trials.

Verse 1
Though they hide themselves on the top of Carmel, there I will hunt them down and seize them. Though they hide from my eyes at the bottom of the sea, there I will command the serpent to bite them. Amos 9:3
God will judge His people. He will remove the evil ones from their positions of authority (highest-spiritual leaders) and use Satan to discipline the masses (lowest-common Israelites).
Verse 2
Your wealth has rotted, and moths have eaten your clothes. Jas 5:2
The rich will be stripped of their material possessions.
And all his acts of power and might, together with a full account of the greatness of Mordecai, whom the king had promoted, are they not written in the book of the annals of the kings of Media and Persia? Est 10:2
Mordecai honored for working for the good of his people.

God will cleanse His church, then dispense destruction upon the world. Those who remain steadfast and work on behalf of God’s people will be rewarded.

Suppose a man comes into your meeting wearing a gold ring and fine clothes, and a poor man in filthy old clothes also comes in. Jas 2:2
There should be no favoritism to the rich over the poor.
Verse 2
What is more, I consider everything a loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them garbage, that I may gain Christ Php 3:8
Christ is my most valuable possession.
Verse 3
If he has done you any wrong or owes you anything, charge it to me. Phm 1:18

Sound from Heaven: Honouring Christ by loving others Mt 22:37-39
We are to treat everyone with love, demonstrating of our devotion to Christ, our prized possession, who set us an example to follow. We are to be our brother’s keeper, concerned for his welfare.
Tue March 8/22
Verse 1
Then the king asked, “What is it, Queen Esther? What is your request? Even up to half the kingdom, it will be given you.” Esther 5:3
The king was willing to give his wife, whatever her request was, within reason.
Verse 2
The king said, “This one says, ‘My son is alive and your son is dead,’ while that one says, ‘No! Your son is dead and mine is alive.’” 1 Ki 3:23
The king had wisdom to determine whose actions were righteous and unrighteous.
Verse 3
The son of Jesse, the son of Obed, the son of Boaz, the son of Salmon, the son of Nahshon. Lk 3:32
The royal line of God.

Whatever we ask God according to His will, He will grant us our request. God knows our motives and will be just in His response for He loves his children.
Mon March 7/22
Verse 1
Yet these people slander whatever they do not understand, and the very things they do understand by instinct—as irrational animals do—will destroy them. Jude 1:10
God’s enemies will destroy themselves.
Verse 2
up to a hundred talents of silver, a hundred cors of wheat, a hundred baths of wine, a hundred baths of olive oil, and salt without limit. Ezr 7:22
The foreign king limitlessly blesses the temple of God.
Verse 3
Afterward the Israelites will return and seek the Lord their God and David their king. They will come trembling to the Lord and to his blessings in the last days. Hos 3:5
After Jesus defeats Israel’s enemies, He will bless the Jews and they will repent and trust in Him.
Sound from Heaven: End time insight
Satan and the Cabal will destroy themselves in the last days. The Antichrist will support Israel’s goal to build the temple in hopes of getting the whole world to worship him. But Jesus returns and defeats Satan and Israel’s enemies causing the Jews to repent and receive Jesus as the Messiah.
Sun March 6/22
Verse 1
He will show no regard for the gods of his ancestors or for the one desired by women, nor will he regard any god, but will exalt himself above them all. Dan 11:37
The Antichrist will have no regard for any god, even the true God, as he exalts himself above all.
Verse 2
Therefore, brothers and sisters, in all our distress and persecution we were encouraged about you because of your faith. 1 Th 3:7
As we serve the true God we will be persecuted but encouraged by the faith of those we have witnessed to.
Verse 3
Do not spend your strength on women, your vigor on those who ruin kings. Pr 31:3
Focus not on worldly pleasures but on our high calling to be God’s ambassadors.
Sound from Heaven: Focus on spreading the Gospel
The Antichrist will demand worship from all. Thus we, as Christians will be persecuted, but be encouraged by the fruit of the Gospel. The time is short, therefore forget worldly passions and focus on the calling to save souls from Hell.

Verse 1
With her two daughters-in-law she left the place where she had been living and set out on the road that would take them back to the land of Judah. Ruth 1:7
After losing her husband and two sons, Naomi decided to return to her home country, despite the famine, since God had provided aid for his people in the land of Judah. Ruth 1:6
Verse 2
They were told not to harm the grass of the earth or any plant or tree, but only those people who did not have the seal of God on their foreheads. Rev 9:4
God provides for His people while destroying His enemies.
Verse 3
When the sun rose, God provided a scorching east wind, and the sun blazed on Jonah’s head so that he grew faint. He wanted to die, and said, “It would be better for me to die than to live.” Jnh 4:8
Jonah’s concern is only for himself and not for his fellow man.
Sound from Heaven: Trust and serve God
Return to God and He will meet your needs while He destroys the enemy. It is nearsighted to be concerned only for self.

Verse 1
Watch out that you do not lose (through false teachers 2 Jn 1:7) what we have worked for, but that you may be rewarded fully. 2 Jn 1:8
By being careless in what you hear, you could miss out in salvation and lose your rewards.
Verse 2
So Ruth gleaned in the field until evening. Then she threshed the barley she had gathered, and it amounted to about an ephah. Ruth 2:17
Working diligently will produce rewards.
Verse 3

Sound from Heaven: Discern and obey truth
Diligence in discerning truth will result in reward but avoiding responsibilities will bring about destruction.

Verse 1
Whenever the spirit from God came on Saul, David would take up his lyre and play. Then relief would come to Saul; he would feel better, and the evil spirit would leave him. 1 Sa 16:23
Music is a gift of God and can soothe our troubled souls.
Verse 2
So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, Col 2:6
We received Christ by faith and by faith not sight we must live each day, trusting in Christ.
Verse 3
But the Israelites were unfaithful in regard to the devoted things; Achan son of Karmi, the son of Zimri, the son of Zerah, of the tribe of Judah, took some of them. So the Lord’s anger burned against Israel. Jos 7:1
Our sins offend the Lord.
Sound from Heaven: Gratefulness for God’s gifts results in faithfulness to God
When troubled use music, a gift of God to soothe the soul and continue to trust God in all things, being faithful, not offending our Lord by sinning.

Verse 1
“After that you will go to Gibeah of God, where there is a Philistine outpost. As you approach the town, you will meet a procession of prophets coming down from the high place with lyres, timbrels, pipes and harps being played before them, and they will be prophesying. 1 Sa 10:5
The prophets were worshipping God amongst an ungodly population (Philistines).
Verse 2
But if a widow has children or grandchildren, these should learn first of all to put their religion into practice by caring for their own family and so repaying their parents and grandparents, for this is pleasing to God. 1 Ti 5:4
One’s own children should practice their religion by caring for their parents and grandparents.
Verse 3
But Jesus told him, “Follow me, and let the dead bury their own dead.” Mt 8:22
Above one’s own family is God’s family and our allegiance must be to God alone.
Sound from Heaven: Be faithful to God and do good
No matter, how evil it is where we are living, do good to all, but above all, remain loyal to God alone. Canada is becoming very communistic, yet we must continue to do good to all and remain faithful to God and His Word.

Verse 1
if it is to encourage, then give encouragement; if it is giving, then give generously; if it is to lead, do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully. Ro 12:8
Whatever gift God has given you, use it to bless the Body.
Verse 2
Now we pray to God that you will not do anything wrong—not so that people will see that we have stood the test but so that you will do what is right even though we may seem to have failed. 2 Co 13:7
Paul exhorted church to check that they are in the faith and are doing what is right.
Verse 3
Israel moved on again and pitched his tent beyond Migdal Eder. Gen 35:21
Rachel had just died giving birth to Benjamin and now Reuben had slept with Israel’s concubine Bilhah, not respecting God.
Sound from Heaven: Use your gifts to do God’s will even in difficult times
Use your gifts and time wisely and when trials come, turn to the Lord for comfort.
