IMAGINATION vs CREATIVITY
What’s the difference between imagination and creativity? Imagination is born in the mind whereas creativity is the transfer of the idea into physical form. Imagination has no boundaries Eph 3:20, whereas creativity has barriers due to physical constraints.
I can imagine moving a refrigerator by myself if it sat upon a sheet of ice, but creativity would be necessary to make this functional in the physical realm. It isn’t possible to lay down a sheet of ice in a kitchen, however I could place a mat under the fridge then be able to move it.
Jesus told parables so that the astute would use their imaginations to discern the spiritual truths buried in His words. Similarly, Tang has shared her creativity in Julie’s Flowers. It’s your opportunity to mine these nuggets hidden in her characters. These riches are life changing for they all point to Jesus and His eternal truths.

FORGIVENESS Heb 10:17,18
One morning, after a dispute with Eric, Julie poured her heart out to George, the gardener, sharing the rape incident that had befallen her at age seven. George shared with Julie, Solomon’s love story SS 2:16 and convinced her to forgive the attackers and trust God to work the horrendous act out for good Ro 8:28. She embraced Jesus and discovered His power of love in her life.
Forgiveness sets the victim free from bondage, it doesn’t keep the perpetrators locked down. When you discover the potency of Christ’s love, which changes you and others, why would you want to hold on to bitterness? Christ is our example. He prayed that the people crucifying Him would be forgiven Lk 23:34. Paul exhorted believers to forgive as Christ had forgiven us Eph 4:32. Read Julie’s Flowers, unwrap Julie’s life change from victim to victor, and claim it for yourself.

THE SECOND BIRTH Jn 3:4
George the gardener taught a valuable life lesson using a small flower bulb and compared it to young Michael’s circumstances. Michael had just lost his mother and didn’t have any reason to live––he was in a dark place pining to wake from this horrible nightmare. Wise old George explained that even though the bulb was buried beneath the ground, it would fight for its survival and eventually break through the darkness into the light and would experience the joy of sunshine again. Michael, though young recognized George’s wisdom and compassion and built a deep friendship which eventually lead to a life filled with purpose.
Maybe you feel like that little bulb, buried deep in the earth, experiencing a cold, dark existence and without hope. Julie’s Flowers will direct you to the light and let you burst through the ground zero barrier and give you meaning and purpose. You have nothing to lose except your unfulfilled life, so if you are at the end of your rope, grease it and let go! An exciting new journey is awaiting for each to bloom in vibrant colors.

ABORTION Ro 6:23
Julie’s biggest fear had become a reality. She’d lost her baby propelling her into depression and deep grief. Unaware of Eric’s actions, she allowed an inner voice to speak irrational guilt thoughts concerning her culpability in the infant’s death.
In contrast, Eric’s conscience was clear, believing that an abortion wasn’t murder, especially if the child would be hideous and a social embarrassment to the family. Today, America finds itself in similar opposing camps. One group considers abortion a convenient way to avoid parental responsibilities under the guise of a “woman’s right.” The other grieves at the grave injustice to innocent infants.
Follow the science has been the 2020 mantra in regards to Co-vid 19, however these same individuals deny a baby’s right to live by aborting beating hearts without the least thought that they have just ended a human life.
How does one wake to reality? The same way that Eric did! Only by heeding the conviction of the Holy Spirit Jn 16:8 NASB. Mercifully, God forgives even murder and grants eternal life to all who turn to Him in repentance and desire to live for Christ rather than self Gal 2:20.
Julie’s Flowers teaches the wonderful truth that God can transform wicked hearts and bring peace, joy and purpose to all who trust in Him. What God did for Eric, He can do for you!
