Rev 22:20

He who testifies to these things says, “Yes, I am coming soon.” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus: Jesus, Himself told John that He will be coming back soon. Remember, in God’s mind, a thousand years is like a day 2 Pe 3:8. It’s been approximately two thousand years since Jesus returned to heaven, and therefore, only two days according to God’s time.

Application: John was told not to seal up the words of the prophecy because the time was near Rev 22:10. And we were admonished to keep the words of the prophecy Rev 22:7. Remember in Noah’s day, the people were eating, drinking and marrying rather than being focused on the coming judgment Lk 17:27. Let us be awake and vigil until Jesus returns.

 Rev 21:4

‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” The old order of things was sin that led to death but for those who receive Christ, He will wipe away all their tears, never to experience death again, without crying or pain.

Application: in God’s goodness, He reveals to us the beauty of eternity, but one cannot experience heaven without trusting Christ in dependency during this life.

Rev 20:15

Anyone whose name was not found written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire: the question for all, is how does one get his or her name written in the book of life? The Bible makes it quite clear that Jesus is the only Name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved Ac 4:11,12 and Jesus is the only way Jn 14:6. Rejection of the Gospel leads to the lake of fire—eternal separation from God Mt 7:22,23.

Application: we all have the choice to choose our eternal destination. Only dying to self-rule and placing our trust in Jesus, who alone can forgive our debt of sin will guarantee an eternity in the presence of God.

Rev 19:9

Then the angel said to me, “Write this: Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding supper of the Lamb!” And he added, “These are the true words of God.” Jesus spoke a parable about the wedding supper Mt 22:1-14. Traditionally, Jewish weddings were consummated after the husband had prepared their new home and came for his bride to celebrate a week-long wedding feast. This is a picture of Christ’s one-thousand-year Millennium reign before eternity begins. The Jews were originally invited to the supper, but they refused and even killed God’s prophets, like John the Baptist. Then, God turned to the Gentiles Ac 13:46. Everyone was invited but only those who trusted in Christ’s sacrifice, received His righteousness were allowed to stay.

Application: we are blessed because we have been invited to share eternity with God. Please do not try to enter the kingdom in your own righteousness, for those will be thrown into outer darkness Mt 22:13. Jesus’ righteousness is the only acceptable way into the wedding supper Jn 14:6.

Rev 18:10

Terrified at her torment, they will stand far off and cry: “‘Woe! Woe to you, great city,  you mighty city of Babylon! In one hour your doom has come!’ Babylon is the name God gave to Israel, His unfaithful wife. She rides the Beast—the kings of the earth, better known as globalism Rev 17:18. Her global dominance is going to be destroyed leaving the nations under her control weeping Rev 18:11. The Antichrist will rise and appear to bring peace to the world Dan 9:27.

Application: Joseph’s sons, Manasseh and Ephraim represent America and Britain. New York is part of Israel’s Babylon—the economic center of the world. It will be destroyed bringing down the Harlot leading to the Antichrist to fill the vacuum created.

HIGH WIRE OF LOVE (2nd Version)

Rev 17:5

The name written on her forehead was a mystery: babylon the great, the mother of prostitutes and of the abominations of the earth. Many readers have called this city “Mystery Babylon” but in context, the city is “Babylon” and what its’ symbolism means is a “mystery.” The imagery of Babylon goes back to the building of the tower of Babel (same word as Babylon Gen 10:10) Gen 11:1-9. The purpose of Babel was to unite the people as one, for there was power in unity Mk 3:25. They were disobedient to God’s command to go and replenish the earth Gen 9:1. They were prideful Gen 11:4 and wanted to be their own god, for in building the tower they used bricks (man-made) rather than uncut stone, which was God’s material for His altar Ex 20:25. Their rebellion was also seen by the Babylonian worship style, which involving prostitution. They also wanting to make the tower to reach the sky, to protect themselves from another deadly flood.

Application: Babylon is symbolic for people who hate God and desire to be their own god. Today, the Cabal is controlling the whole world so many cities could be called Babylon. I believe we will know for sure what place Babylon is referring to in our lifetime. In the meantime, God exhorts his people to be vigilant, awake and warn others what is going to take place.

Rev 16:15

Look, I come like a thief! Blessed is the one who stays awake and remains clothed, so as not to go naked and be shamefully exposed: Jesus used the phrase, “I come like a thief” to highlight the fact that people will be surprised and unprepared when He returns. When a thief breaks into one’s home, the occupants are fast asleep in the middle of the night and therefore unready to defend themselves or their property. Jesus exhorted His people to stay awake, watching for signs so that they will not be dumbfounded. He encouraged them to be clothed. If an emergency happened in the middle of the night, one could respond much quicker if they were already clothed rather than lying in their sleep ware.  To run out into the street in the nighttime without any clothes would be a shameful experience, but Jesus here is discussing the spiritual consequences, not the physical ones. When Jesus was taken into custody in the Garden of Gethsemane, a bystander was being apprehended and escaped but his garment was seized as he fled naked Mk 14:51,52. He was wearing a linen garment—white, which represented righteousness, which was taken away for he was not prepared for the event that had developed. In the same way, Jesus warned us to be awake and clothed, so that we can respond to the coming ordeal in a way that would glorify God and aid His people.

Application: we are to warn others, like a watchman, to what is about to happen. The Bible prophesied of a one world government Rev 13:1,2,7; Dan 7:19-24; one world currency Rev 13:16,17 and one world religion Rev 13:8 and it is now at the doorstep. Now is not the time to be sleeping in your bed clothes!

Rev 15:3

And sang the song of God’s servant Moses and of the Lamb: “Great and marvelous are your deeds, Lord God Almighty. Just and true are your ways, King of the nations. The tribulation saints had harps and were singing the song of Moses (a song of deliverance) Ex 15:1-19 and the Lamb (for His deliverance) to worship God for the victory over the beast. They acknowledged God’s mighty deeds and that Jesus was just and true, worthy to be King of all the nations.

Application: the greatest element in heaven is worshipping the Lord, so shouldn’t our most important function on earth be the same—the worship of God?

 Rev 14:11

And the smoke of their torment will rise for ever and ever. There will be no rest day or night for those who worship the beast and its image, or for anyone who receives the mark of its name: this is a warning for those who take the mark of the beast. They will be tormented with burning sulfur Rev 14:10, with no rest day or night.

Application: there is not a more fearful description of pain than for those who take the mark of the beast. Yes, it will be difficult for those who refuse the mark with no ability to purchase food and death if caught, but that pain is temporary compared to the eternal suffering of those who worship the beast.

Sunday April 3. 2022.

Rev 13:16

It also forced all people, great and small, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hands or on their foreheads: we have just experienced the precursor to this mark which was the Co-vid vaccine shot in the right arm. There was an attempt to force the vaccine passport on all, so that anyone without the passport could not participate in certain events or eat in restaurants. You had to wear a mask to purchase food in grocery stores. But the coming mark of the Beast will involve worship or death Rev 13:15. Man must choose between physical or spiritual death. If he chooses to worship God, he will be killed but if he receives the mark of the Beast, he will experience the second death Rev 14:9,10 (separation from God in eternity) Rev 20:14 in the Lake of Fire Rev 20:15.

Application: the Bible teaches that today is the day of salvation 2 Co 6:2. If you think you will wait until all of this comes true, it will be too late, for God will send a delusion upon all those who refused to believe so that they can’t believe 2 Th 2:10,11,12.

Rev 12:1

A great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet and a crown of twelve stars on her head. This sign—a woman clothed with the sun represented the nation Israel from the dream Joseph had Gen 37:9,10. The moon is Rachel and the twelve stars are the twelve tribes of Israel. The birth of a son referred to Jesus Rev 12:5. The dragon was Satan Rev 12:9 who later wages war against Israel’s offspring—the Gentile tribulation saints Rev 12:17.

Application: we are close to seeing the end times come to fruition—one world currency, one world government and the mark of the beast. Jesus, is the only One that can save us, if we place our faith in Him Ro 10:13.

Rev 11:3

And I will appoint my two witnesses, and they will prophesy for 1,260 days, clothed in sackcloth: during the first three and a half years of the tribulation period, God will send two witnesses to prophesy for the people to repent (sackcloth). These two witnesses are Elijah and Moses, who will use the same powers that God gave them in their first coming. Elijah sent fire that destroyed King Ahaziah’s men 2 Ki 1:12; Rev 11:5. He also prayed and God shut up the heavens from rain for three and a half years Jas 5:17; while Moses was able to turn the water into blood and cause many plagues to fall on the Egyptians Ex 9:10,23; Rev 11:6.

Application: after God sent a severe earthquake killing seven thousand people, the survivors gave glory to God Rev 11:13.  Why wait until it’s too late to turn to God, now is the day of salvation, now is the time to repent and trust God 2 Co 6:2.

Rev 10:10

I took the little scroll from the angel’s hand and ate it. It tasted as sweet as honey in my mouth, but when I had eaten it, my stomach turned sour: the little scroll symbolized the Bible, which John consumed, enjoying its contents. But the final effect made his stomach turn sour.

Application: when an individual receives Christ, God’s Word becomes as sweet as honey Ps 119:103. He devours the information, renewing his mind to God’s truth and excitedly shares with others. Unfortunately, many will oppose the truth and the push back is usually painful. John physically experienced this by eating the scroll, whereas we physically reap the results of sharing Jesus—persecution Mt 10:22. The comfort we receive from the promises of God allows us to endure the on-going opposition, for we know in the end our reward is eternal Mt 25:23.

Rev 9:20

The rest of mankind who were not killed by these plagues still did not repent of the work of their hands; they did not stop worshiping demons, and idols of gold, silver, bronze, stone and wood—idols that cannot see or hear or walk: God poured out severe judgments, to the point that the people longed to die but death eluded them Rev 9:6. After the third plague many did die, but the rest of mankind still would not repent and continued to worship demons and idols.

Application: God is full of grace but He is also just and therefore impenitent people will suffer the second death in the lake of fire Rev 20:14. Pride led to Satan’s fall and it will be the destruction of everyone who fails to humble themselves Pr 16:18.

Rev 8:3

Another angel, who had a golden censer, came and stood at the altar. He was given much incense to offer, with the prayers of all God’s people, on the golden altar in front of the throne: an angel stood at God’s altar and offered incense along with the prayers of all God’s people. He then filled the censer with fire and hurled it to the earth producing an earthquake Rev 8:4.

Application: these verses demonstrate the value of our prayers. It seemed that God responded with judgment upon the earth due to the prayers that were sent by His people. James told us that the prayers of a righteous man are powerful and effective Jas 5:16. We must recognize what a powerful weapon prayer is and use it to help conquer the kingdom of darkness.

Rev 7:12

Saying: “Amen! Praise and glory and wisdom and thanks and honor and power and strength be to our God for ever and ever. Amen!” We get a glimpse of how the angels worship God. Firstly, they fell down on their faces Rev 7:11, then proceeded to exalt God with seven esteeming words. They began with “praise” and “glory” which magnified God’s splendor. “Wisdom” addressed God’s intelligence, while “thanks” expressed their gratefulness. The last three words “honor,” “power,” and “strength” announced His supremacy.

Application: we may not be able to match the angel’s sophistication of worship, but from what I have gleaned about God from the Bible, I believe He loves to listen to all of our adoration. As a human father, hearing my own children praise me were wonderful moments that I still cherish!

Rev 6:1

I watched as the Lamb opened the first of the seven seals. Then I heard one of the four living creatures say in a voice like thunder, “Come!” Jesus opened the sealed scrolls. The first revealed a white horse, who represented the Antichrist, having a bow without arrows meaning he would defeat the people through deception rather than force Rev 6:2. The second seal presented a fiery red horse that would cause civil war killing many Rev 6:4. The third seal displayed a black horse that represented famine Rev 6:6. The four seal appeared a pale horse with Death as its’ rider having power over a fourth of the earth Rev 6:8. The fifth seal pictured martyrs in heaven crying to God for revenge Rev 6:10. The sixth seal showed a great earthquake in which the people cried out that they might die Rev 6:12,16.

Application: the seven-year tribulation period begins when the Antichrist signs a peace covenant with Israel  Dan 9:27. So, even though we can see signs of fruition, we haven’t entered into the Day of the Lord until the peace treaty is signed. Keep your eyes on Jesus and not on any human leader to deliver you for only Jesus can bring salvation.

Rev 5:9

And they sang a new song, saying: “You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals, because you were slain, and with your blood you purchased for God persons from every tribe and language and people and nation. When no one was found to be worthy to open the scroll, John began to weep, but was then told that Jesus had triumphed and was able to break the seals. By His death, Jesus had conquered sin and had purchased for God all kinds of people.

Application: to experience the reigning on earth as priests for God Rev 5:10, one must place his or her faith in Jesus’ death and resurrection.

 Rev 4:7

The first living creature was like a lion, the second was like an ox, the third had a face like a man, the fourth was like a flying eagle: in the center around the throne were four living creatures that led the worship of God continually. Interestingly, these four creatures reflected the four Gospels. The lion represented the king of the animal kingdom, as Matthew portrayed Jesus as the King of the Jews. The ox was king of the domesticated animals, a true servant of man as Mark revealed Jesus as the Servant of God. The man presented Luke’s Jesus as the Son of Man, while the flying eagle soaring in the heavens displayed John’s Christ as the Son of God.

Application: the depth of symbolism in the Bible is fathomless demonstrating the creativity of God and His immense intelligence. This is no ordinary Book as it is truly living and active Heb 4:12 and more importantly can give us eternal life when we place our faith in Jesus Christ.

 Rev 3:15

I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other: Jesus despised lukewarm people. He preferred if one was hot or cold rather than indifferent. To the citizens of Laodicea, they were familiar with the cold, pure waters of nearby Colossae at the foot of Mount Cadmus which satisfied their thirst. Whereas, the people of Hierapolis, experienced the hot springs, which was a blessing to all located in their city.

Application: Many people attend church and say they are Christians but by their actions prove they are in the group Jesus called lukewarm. They are going to be shocked when Jesus says to them, “I never knew you” Mt 7:23. All true believers are dependent upon Christ as a way of life Gal 2:20.

Rev 2:17

Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one who is victorious, I will give some of the hidden manna. I will also give that person a white stone with a new name written on it, known only to the one who receives it: the Holy Spirit addressed this promise to overcomers—believers in Christ. Young’s literal translation reads: To him who is overcoming, I will give to him to eat from the hidden manna. We were told to rule over all the earth Gen 1:26 and Cain was told that he must rule over his sin Gen 4:7. Jesus addressed the church at Pergamum, the place where Satan had his throne and was enticing believers to eat food sacrificed to idols and to commit sexual immorality Rev 2:13,14. Believers have died to self-rule and their new lives are hidden in dependency to Christ Col 3:3. He is the nourishing manna Jn 6:41 who gives us the strength to overcome sin. When we meet Jesus, face to face He will give all believers a white stone signifying that they are righteous, declared not guilty. He will also show intimacy with each believer by writing a new name on his or her stone that only that believer will understand.

Application: I will use an analogy to explain this intimacy written on each white stone. My closest relationship on a human level was with my wife. We had given each other a musical name, as our common love was writing music. I had a relative, who was called “Stric” (uncle in Croatian) which I pronounced as “Streets.” So, Julia called me “Streeter.” She loved the orange drink (Tang) that my mother would always offer her, so I called her “Tang.” Thus we became known as “Streeter and Tang” and during our musical endeavours wrote 125+ songs for the Lord. These nicknames became very special, associated with making worship music for the Lord and this is how I see our new name that Jesus will give us. It may be a character trait that we exhibited while serving Him or a special event that we excelled in but it will be special, only between Jesus and us, to enjoy the intimate thought and His way of demonstrating His love for us.

Rev 1:8

“I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty:” Jesus clearly proclaimed His deity with this statement. In context, the previous verse identified the speaker as the one who was pierced which can only refer to the Son and not the Father Rev 1:7. By connecting the titles given to Jesus in the book of Revelation, we can also prove that He is the Almighty.

Rev 22:12 described Jesus as coming back soon. Then, Rev 22:13 listed His titles as: the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End. In Rev 22:16, the speaker is identified as Jesus, along with the additional titles of: the Root and the Offspring of David, and the bright Morning Star.

Finally, back to Rev 1:17,18,  Jesus is called the First and the Last, the Living One, who was dead (which can only be Jesus).

Now connect the verses: Jesus is the Alpha and the Omega Rev 1:8, Rev 22:13, but also the First and the Last Rev 22:13, Rev 1:17. Thus, Jesus is the Almighty (Jehovah), the God in three Persons—Father, Son and Holy Spirit Rev 1:4,5 (Father: who is, who was and who is to come; Holy Spirit: the seven spirits before his throne; Son: Jesus Christ—the firstborn from the dead).

Application: we must worship the true God, who has revealed Himself as one God Mt 28:19 (name not names) in three Persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit Mt 3:16,17.
