A young military man was at the point of taking his life when he remembered my son-in-law Ralph’s entreaty to watch the movie he had produced “Genesis, Paradise Lost.” Instead of cutting his wrists, he felt compelled to rent the movie and in the next couple of hours had a purpose to live. He watched the movie three times in the next few days, then contacted Ralph to tell him that he had saved his life. Ralph, very humbled by this wondrous event, reminded this young man that it was God that had saved him and that he was just God’s messenger, sharing the truth that our God is good and comforts us in our trials so that we can comfort others in their sufferings 2 Co 1:3,4.

God has given each one of us a voice to praise our Lord. So whatever gift you have received, use it to glorify the One (Jesus Christ), who is worthy of our praise.
