The disciples press Jesus to eat food, but his focus was on His goal: He came to save sinners Lk 19:10. The disciples constantly misinterpret Jesus, by placing physical meanings to His spiritual words. I have food to eat that you know nothing about Jn 4:32. The disciples wonder who brought Jesus food to eat, but He is speaking spiritually, meaning His food is to do the Father’s will Jn 4:34.

We need to heed Jesus’ words and prioritize God’s will, over our physical needs and desires. We were created for God’s pleasure Rev 4:11 KJV. Our chief purpose is to share the Good News and make disciples Mt 28:19,20.
