HIGH WIRE OF LOVE (1st)

WALKING ON THE HIGH WIRE OF LOVE

I’M FALLING FASTER WITH EVERY SHOVE

SOMEBODY HELP ME PLEASE, NOW BEFORE I FALL

WALKING ON THAT HIGH WIRE OF LOVE

THERE MUST BE A STRONG MAN OUT THERE SOMEWHERE

THERE MUST BE A DANCING FOOL

WHO’LL HELP ME LAUGH THROUGH THESE TEARS

SOMEBODY HELP ME, SOMEBODY HELP ME PLEASE

CHORUS

THERE MUST BE A STRONG MAN OUT THERE SOMEWHERE

THERE MUST BE A DANCING FOOL

WHO’LL HELP ME LAUGH THROUGH THESE TEARS

SOMEBODY HELP ME, SOMEBODY HELP ME PLEASE

CHORUS

BREAK

CHORUS 2X

WALKING ON THAT HIGH WIRE OF LOVE

HERE I GO

In our relentless pursuit of love, we often search for the ultimate lover—one who loves us unconditionally, delights in our presence above all else, and remains faithful and loyal even unto death, providing unwavering protection. The challenge arises as we seek this love within the wrong dimensions. There are those who exhibit strength, bring laughter into our lives, yet none possess the ability to prevent the inevitable fall from love’s precarious tightrope, for all are sinners (Ro 3:23), and thus, the descent is inevitable, sooner or later. This is the realm of conditional love, a fleeting affection dependent on the satisfaction of personal needs.

Amidst the plea for rescue, a cry echoes from those who yearn for a love that transcends conditional bounds. Tang’s soul cries out for intervention before she loses all hope in her pursuit of true love. Ironically, this love has been patiently wooing her for years (Ac 17:27). His name is Jesus Christ, the embodiment of love who, in His affection for humanity, demonstrated it by sacrificing Himself in our stead, bearing the punishment we rightfully deserve (Ro 3:25,26). He stands ready to be the love we seek, but the turning point lies in our decision to embrace Him and receive this unparalleled affection.

(How to be saved?).
